Morning 'allotment and Nicky down south. Have just been studying your last responses and I agree that the death COULD well be the right one. William's age varies on census returns ie 8 on '51, 18 on '61, 28 on '71, 39 on '81, and 46 on '91. So for him to have died in 1897, his age is not far out. Have noted this. Also the William Chandler living alone age 26 looks good, particularly as he is a general labourer and shows as a pavior for local council on 1911 (original image). |
