I cant see any marriage for her to George. I can see her up to 1881 census and then she must be living with George after that |

You have all come up trumps. I think they didn't marry but will get the Smitten/Skillicorn marriage - just to check the signature against the birth certificate and Eliza's birth certificate. |

i think George has the ages mixed up . according to the 1891 he was 31 so should be 51 in 1911 . he says 54 |

Perhaps. When I apply for the birth I will speak to the genealogist at the Birmingham records office. He is very helpful and may be able help? that is look at the Skillicorn marriage and check the Eliza's age? It will rule one of them out - hopefully! |

An update! I believe one of the Elizas should have been Matilda b 1859 so am on right track. Will talk to the registrar tomorrow! |
