Help please i'm confused!
It says in the 1901 census that John Pemberton, head of the above family, is born in Tipton, Staffordshire, but in the 1911 census it says he was born in Newton Heath, Shropshire. I can't find him in the 1891 census or even the free 1881 census, could someone please help, thank you :-)

So his name differs, but the same family as 1901;

So John was actually Samuel John and his father was also Samuel...... maybe they called him John to stop any confusion??? This happened quite frequently.
