Bless their little hearts!! <3

I think the chance of anyone connected to any of these children seeing your thread is pretty slim Shelly.
I know that i would be delighted to receive a PM from you if any one of these children were connected to my family.
What a lovely thing to do..........almost like returning them to their families.

Just lovely! x

I'm wondering whether Alfred Batt (aged 5) was the son of Alfred and Phoebe Batt who married in 1905.

At the time of the 1911 Census they were living at Berkshire so it may not be the same family.

Hi Shelly

Thank you for contacting me personally, I would never have seen this thread, although I've been a member since 2004, it's the first time I've looked at this area of the site, you've found a home for little Alfie

thanks once again Diane

I am so pleased you were able to find the families of some of these children Shelly.
Fingers crossed for the others!!

Madmeg Report 21 Aug 2011 23:32

Several people have these names on their trees on here, so it would be easy to contact them.

A lovely idea, so they know that their ancestors were remembered.
