A tree on Ancestry has Alfred's death 1 March 1919, Fredericton, New Brunswick and Alice 30 Dec. 1972, Swinton, Yorkshire. Jenny died 26 june 2002, Steeton, Yorkshire.

The incoming passenger lists has the following arriving Liverpool 23 August 1919 from Montreal aboard the "Canada"
Ford, Alice, 30
Caroline, 8
Jenny, 6
William, 3
Heading to 16 Picadilly Swindon nr Rotherham. Last residence Canada, future permanent residence England.

I thought you said your Alfred died in 1918 in WW1?

Hi Catherine,no what i did was looked on the war greaves because of the date and many service men died at war around that date.i was asking if it was possible that it was the same person. thanks Janette.
