The Irish Famine was raging between the years 1845/52, so you would presume this was their reason for leaving their home.

Strokestown has a famine museum, have you thought of contacting the church where they were married for further records regarding the bride/groom.

If you put the following into google:

MICHAEL NERTNEY (son of Bernard) – and ELIZABETH FALLON (daughter of Daniel)

the first site appears thus:

MICHAEL NERTNEY (son of Bernard) – and ELIZABETH FALLON (daughter of Daniel) Married in Strokestown Roman Catholic Church, Co. ...
genforum.genealogy.com/fallon/messages/301.html

It was posted by a Colin Nertney.

Happy hunting :-)
