Yes I do Thankyou for all your help It was Micheal and Elizabeth that came over from Ireland somewhere between getting married in Ireland and having their first child in 1851 in Stockton-on-tees that I would love to find out about but thanks to all of you that tried to help me Carol

No Carol I have nothing to do with the family at all but usually I try to find some backround on the family especially if I cant find them on any Census...
Do you have info on any of the 13 children of Michael and Clara...especially Eileen...?

You stated you had all the details/Cetts etc of the children of Michael and Eliz. was one named Michael and did he marry a Clara...?

If you put the following into google:

MICHAEL NERTNEY (son of Bernard) – and ELIZABETH FALLON (daughter of Daniel)

the first site appears thus:

MICHAEL NERTNEY (son of Bernard) – and ELIZABETH FALLON (daughter of Daniel) Married in Strokestown Roman Catholic Church, Co. ...

Carol....Have found this (2001 Message Board Not GR) unless it is yours then someone else was looking for the same couple...(Note father's name listed)

MICHAEL NERTNEY (son of Bernard) – and ELIZABETH FALLON (daughter of Daniel)
Married in Strokestown Roman Catholic Church, Co. Roscommon on 6 March 1848. (Witnesses – Michael & Brigid Haydon.)
In the 1851 Census they were in Stockton, Co Durham England.
Any help on where they lived before the wedding will very much appreciated.

just had a quick look on that site i sent you.
theres a few nertneys on the1901 cencus in roscommon.
all farmers, but could they be related to your micheal?

The church of St Mary Strokestown 6 March 1848 Wittnesses were Micheal Hayden and Brigid Hayden the Curate was Micheal Donnelly
