Frederick's fathers name is William Henry Hooper.

Occupation: Staff Sargeant major army pay department.

Fred. W V Hooper was born in Claines in 1882. 22nd Regiment Vol 916 Page 22

He joined the Army age 14years 1month and was discharged in 1907.
His father is named as William Henry Hooper Old Barracks Warwick.

Astra, that birthplace is interesting.

The Frederick I found in 1911 was from Worcestershire, which is where Claines is. The Frederick Jan found is from Colwall, Herefordshire (which is fairly close to the border, I think).
