we thought that was him but we got the certifcate and found we were wrong.it vwas a younger man born 1928,but we dont know where he came from or where he went.

hi We have now got the certificate James Samson Brown 26 married Queenie Victoria Drew 44 9th august 1954.He was an engineer welder bachelor.His father was Hennessey Nemrick Browne deceased astrologer.I have searched and cannot find him on any census.has anyone any idea about the name where it could come from,any help please?

we have found that james browne married queenie drew in 1954 in islington is there any way we could find who were the witness"s were? if not i will get the cert. thanks

There are lots of marriages for James S. Brown but only one (so far) on FreeBMD for James S. Browne - whether it is him or not???

yes probably but we hav'nt got it yet, and wondered how they came to meet up as her commom law husband died about a year before they married and her children do not remember him.very strange!.anyone who help thank you
