we are looking for james s brown who married queenie drew in sep.1954 in islington london james was born in 1896 in lancashire and queenie 1910 in london east we would like to know if james died or they divorced,also if there were any children of the marriage.if anyone can help thank you

Not found any obvious births around that time and area but given the age of Queenie then probably none

Just spotted the difference in spelling of surname makes a difference when searching

Have you tried Search Trees on GR - there are contacts who have Queenie Drew born 1910 in London. Perhaps they could help you?

yes probably but we hav'nt got it yet, and wondered how they came to meet up as her commom law husband died about a year before they married and her children do not remember him.very strange!.anyone who help thank you

hi We have now got the certificate James Samson Brown 26 married Queenie Victoria Drew 44 9th august 1954.He was an engineer welder bachelor.His father was Hennessey Nemrick Browne deceased astrologer.I have searched and cannot find him on any census.has anyone any idea about the name where it could come from,any help please?
