The marriage dates were from free bmd, which is free to search and covers births, marriages and deaths in England and Wales from the start of registration to about the 1940s (it is a work in progress).

I have had a look at the Freebmd website Patchem, but did'nt understand it, Is it not a site that you can search for names. How I understood it was, it was a site looking for people to transcribe documents to online.. Am I being a bit thick??? Regards, Mark
