I would like to know who else is on the record with Ida Colyer in Kingston, Surrey. She was born about 1888. Many thanks! |

Thanks so much, that was fast! I'm sure that's her because she was born in Fulham. She was married to a Frank Colyer, but I don't know anything about him and this only adds to the mystery. I thought this might shed light on whether there were children, but apparently not. Thanks again so much! |

Thanks. I just don't know what became of either of them in the long run, or whether they had children. |

Thanks - you've hit the jackpot! How did you find this? Ida's maiden name was Sara and she had a brother named Frederick, so this is them. |

I wondered how you were able to pinpoint Frank Colyer in 1911 as there were probably a few of them? |

not that many. There was only 9. I just looked at them individually to see if I could find a possibility. Having Fred board with him was a godsend. I was just looking for Frank married for about 6 years but no wife living with him. |

Well, having now plugged them into my family tree, I see that they all went to Australia! So thanks for providing me with the clues. |

When did Emily go to Australia? |

Thanks Jax! I had thought perhaps Emily Sara went to Australia after the death of her husband in 1937 as I could see a 1953 Australia death for an Emily Sara but no details. I'm not sure about the Uckfield death. I was not aware that Emily had a middle name, and I could never find a birth for her (and all the census records had different dates of birth for her). But I suppose the Uckfield death is a possibility. Thanks! |

Wow, that was a stroke of brilliance! I think that must be her as she was born in London. I think you've solved the mystery! |
