I went off to do some hoovering..........I feel guilty if I sit at the computor to long ! That birth record you found for Elizabeth looks very promising. And as the name William crops up again it could be just what I'm looking for. The baptismal place is Landport which would be about right. I can view an original copy of the bap. cert. at our local records office. I will look at the other William Clark families at Andover just to check them out.
