According to FMP on facebook posting - they have a cunning plan - to stop chaos on the site last England game -

This ia an extract from Facebook announcement from Findmypast - this is the cunning plan

2. Return to findmypast.co.uk any time between 9am UK time on Friday, June 18 and 9am Saturday, June 19 and sign in: you can now even watch the match as well!

3. Once you have signed in, you will have 90 minutes to search and view the records for free at your leisure (and a time of your choosing)

seems a much better idea

A member of the Berkshire FHS who is a full subscriber to FMP and could not get on the other night sent an e-mail of complaint-FMP replied apologising and have added 1 EXTRA DAY to her sub package !!

It pays to complain ? !!
