You could still be right, Allan. That 1835 marriage to Nancy Isherwood does say that the husband was previously married. He could have married Nancy Tattersall first. |

To Mrs Crumpy, Margaret, Lancashire Ann THANK YOU for your help with my Nancy Tattersall who was the sister to my ancestor Henry Tattersall bc 1821 Haslingden Lancashire son and daughter of James Tattersall and Tabitha Rawstron. I was hoping that John and Nancy Hindle was listed in the 1841 and 1851 census that would have given me their childrens names but the records have shown that there are too many John and Nancy Hindle. I feel that Nancy Hindle may have died young and that her widow husband John remarried but I have no threads which may guide me at the moment. THANK YOU once again. |
