on that 1871 the wife's name must be Ellen - see marriage on p1

possible 2nd marriage? same church

still can't find a Wm Sarah marriage

Yes Ann,it is Ellen and I do think it is their marriage,but it is after the birth of the eldest child,Sarah ann.

So I wonder if they have the same mother ?

is the birth certificate you have a modern handwritten or typed copy or a photocopy of the original? Could a mistake have been made?

the only Sarah I keep finding is this one - same reg district

had not noticed it was after Sarah A's birth Viv - all v confusing

Thats the one I keep coming up with Ann,just a load of Hassall this FH lark at times ...:)
