Following on from Janey's find of http://www.busnach.nl/
I've had a look and Leah's father Joseph [Josua] is on there; he married Clara Draaijer 22 June 1851 in Amsterdam. It says they are in the 1871 census at 9 Sivan [Swan] Yard, St Mary Whitechapel. Doesn't mention Leah (she is possibly Helena) but it does mention Michael, Rachel and Rachel Soep.

See entries 28 & 34 though there are lots of Busnachs with various spellings on the site.

Also, go to FreeBMD and do a search for all events for suname BUSNAC* and no other search terms (no dates, no given names, etc.). There are not a lot.

You'll see a Rachel born 1862 who would seem to be your Leah's sister, from the 1871 census. That birth certificate should give you the surname of Leah's mother Clara. (The 1871 census does say Rachel was born in Amsterdam, but as a ditto, and there is no other Rachel in 1871 for that 1862 birth.)

The Michael who married in 1872 is probably Leah's brother from the 1871 census.

Doing the same for surname Reyna, the first event is the marriage of Solomon and Leah in 1875. The last event is 1886 -- since the family seems to have changed the spelling to Rayner after that.

There is one marriage in 1945 showing at FreeBMD, but since the first name is Jesús, I suspect that is the Spanish surname Reyna. ;)

For starters, you need the Reyna-Busnach marriage certificate. It should name their fathers. (Dea's 1971 census helps with that of course.)

You gotta make the most of Google, Christie.

Christie, on the 1911 census, son Aaron Rayner is shown as aged 17 and born in Mile End New Town.

In 1901 they are living in Mile End New Town, and son Aaron is shown as aged 6 and born in Spitalfields.
