If you put Bertie Stanley born 1889 in SEARCH at the top of the page (beneath the GR logo) he appears in 3 family trees.....you should be able to make contact with the owners of the trees from the page that comes up.

more pm's from Victor, for the benefit of other helpers:-

Hello Catherine, Sorry for delay, I'm still learning!
Stanley was Bertie's surname. His father was James Stanley who died resulting from a horse bite. James was born in Aylebury in 1849.

Bertie's father was James Stanley and his mother Sarah. I'm still looking for Bertie's marriage date to Dorothy Cook and the children, one son and a daughter. Bertie died between 1920/25 and the thirties.

I thought Berie was born in 1888 but it looks as though it should be 1889. Kind regards
ps. How does one print off these pages of info? It must be possible.

I could be Bertie Gordon but I'm not sure. I will apply for a birth certificate and \marriage certificate to make sure.

You mention Bertie Stanley, 42 Wolverhampton. Is that a town or a Road because he lived in Hammersmith or thereabouts.

This is a reply to your last two messages. Lewella has given me the dates of birth and the names of Bertie and Dorothy. I have no idea if you can read her message but if you can it is most interesting. I wish I could sent a copy to you but don't have the knowledge. I now wish to find the children if they are still alive. Many thanks for your invaluable help.
