Have just noticed that on the 1861 John is shown being born in Llandfing, Cardiganshire but on the 1871 he is shown as Newcastle in Emlyn. They are one and the same though.

There are sooooo many John Davies's all born around the same time.The 1851 as a John Davies born in Newcastle in Emlyn but his birthyear was 1832 and he was a Journeyman Carpenter.He was a Mason on the 1861-71.

James Bowers in Tasmania,Australia was born 1838.thanks again for your precious help
