I have another query I would like to ask if anyone can help me on. I am trying to get the dates on my tree validated by finding the evidence on the BDM but am struggling to find my grandparents marriage date on my mothers side! My mother was born in 1939 and I have searched from 1930-1940 and can't find any entries for their marriage, they were practicing catholics and I can't imagine that my mother would have been born out of wedlock but that is only my assumption. Where do I go with this now. HELP! Please |

So if I order the cert then that will confirm whether her mum was married at the time? |

When you looked through the marriages 1930-1940 did you find any for Herbert Reay? Just wonderedif Greta had been married before and married with her 1st husband's name. |
