Hi Everyone thanks for all your help, Aunt Sally would have been a Stevens. As she apparantly married grandads brother Charles Stevens. So looks like we now have another possible birthday for Alfie, 8th 10th 12th? |

Hi Everyone have managed to find a bit more info by googling. His Parents were aparantly Jacob and Ada Bass nee Miller. So I assume the whole family changed there surname possibly to hide their origions. |
