Find Ancestors

Hi Everyone have managed to find a bit more info by googling. His Parents were aparantly Jacob and Ada Bass nee Miller. So I assume the whole family changed there surname possibly to hide their origions.
Alfie married a Bryl Margaret Bryson in 1956. They had one son and one daughter. Can't find anything on Pam cunliffe that lindsey mentioned.
Grandad says that Charles and Sally had a son called Michael.

Hi Everyone thanks for all your help, Aunt Sally would have been a Stevens. As she apparantly married grandads brother Charles Stevens. So looks like we now have another possible birthday for Alfie, 8th 10th 12th?

I've looked up many English immigrants in the Canadian census for posts on GR boards, and sometimes I've been told their UK dob, and it's been different from their dob on the census, but I've noticed they never change their anniversary, just their year of birth. Thus I find it significant that 8 April would be a second quarter registration in whatever year.

If you go to the internet movie database (imdb.com) and type in Alfie Bass it will tell you a bit about him.

His parents were Russian they fled the USSR to avoid persecution.
