Lindylu Report 14 Jul 2008 20:51

What dont you understand Lisa? Lindsey has found her on the census records so at least you now know where she was born. If you want her maiden name you will have to be patient so researchers can try to work it out for you!

Lisa Report 14 Jul 2008 20:56

i just didnt understand the stuff that was shown i know i have to be patient but when your own family wont tell you anything at all its so frustrating and im having to rely on strangers it just dont seem right

Lindylu

Lindylu Report 14 Jul 2008 20:58

We all have to rely on strangers at some point when researching, there comes a point when the family dont actually know anything. As you can see Lindsay has found her in quite a few census records so far so she's getting nearer to pinning her down.

Well Lisa, thats familys for you. I can assure you a lot of people have the same problem. You also have to remember that sometimes, especially with older people, the past can be very painful, they didnt have the easy life a lot of us have today.

The people on here are always willing to give up there time and resources to help but you do have to be patient.
