I will i think, but carrying on searching back from before their marrage, it maybe i've been miss led and they wern't from Ireland at all. I really shouldn't believe everything i have been told. Then again it may be another Michael and Mary with the same named children with the same ish birthdays and live in the same area!! Not very likley though eh. I will let you know how i get on!
Just for a query, what info does an early marrage cert give? Place of birth?

Hello Janice, i do too but Thomas never ever came up. Must be the way i'm looking at it.
My aunt is sure her fathers birthdate was 27/03/1922, so if the one listed is jun quarter, what the chances she would leave it for over 2 months to register? Will check my facts and keep looking. Again thanks for your help....

Jacqueline Report 26 Feb 2008 13:32

Thanks Betty.
Thats great stuff. My aunt thinks all their Children were born here, so that would fit!! I need to jog her memory. I have looked where you said, but it is a long shot, Dempsey is not an uncommon name and mary is even more so... If anyone has any further ideas please post them Thanks
