Walter Short was born in 1886
Florence Legg was born in 1887

They would have got married in Dorset not 100% sure where, They had 1 daughter but it would have been Walter's Step daughter

The story is that Florence Legg and her step dad Robert Collins had some kind of a fling which resulted in florence having a daughter by him Elsie May Collins.
She then went onto marry Walter Short, So thats why her surname could be either Collins or Legg

Yes, Georgina, the surname is Short. That is the name I have been searching for. A typo, mea culpa, that sort of thing just never happens around here.
