Paula, on the 1851 Census there is a Thomas Tannatt, (traced back from the information you have all supplied me with) living in the same house as a Hannah Herbert aged 25 and seemingly with a one year old son called David Herbert. I'm trying to work out the relationship between the Herberts and Tannatts. If Thomas was her brother who was she married to? someone called Herbert I'm presuming.?
Sorry I started a new thread earlier, when I shouldn't have done so.

Best Regards
Brian

Brian, the answer really is in that thread.

Paula posted the 1849 marriage of Hannah Tannnatt to Evan Herbert. !

I have now given you the 1850 death of Evan Herbert.

Since David Herbert in 1851 is nephew of Thomas Tannatt, the obvious hypothesis is that his mother is a Tannatt.

Searching at FreeBMD for a marriage between a Tannatt and a Herbert finds you only that one.
