One of the results from a google search for Royal Victoria Hospital, (South Stoneham RD as per 1901 census) for George Hall - nurse.

Actually RVH Netley, originally built as a Military hospital in latter years it was a Military psychiatric hospital, but now a lovely country park on the edge of Southampton Water.

This is the George who was in Perth in 1911:

UK, Royal Hospital Chelsea Pensioner Soldier Service Records, 1760-1920
View Original Image on Fold3.
Name: George Hall
Enlistment Age: 28
Birth Date: abt 1873
Birth Place: Pentront Dennfleshire
Enlistment Year: 1901
Regiment: Royal Army Medical Corps
Regimental Number: 15830
Attestation Paper: Yes

So he may well have been the one who was a nurse at the Royal Victoria Hospital in South Stoneham in 1901.

I suspect "Pentront" or "Pirfront" is meant to be Penpont.
Penpont is only about 7 miles from Durrisdeer.

Anyway, he's the only George Hall born in Dumfries-shire 1870-80.

George senior was a gamekeeper in Durrisdeer in 1871.

I've had a look at the 1911 census posted by ErikaH.

Address: 17 Thimblerow, Perth.

George was a self-employed rabbitcatcher, employed on "various farms", born in what looks like "Pirfront", Dumfries. BUT there's no such place, and no George Hall born anywhere in Dumfries-shire 1868-72.

Beatrice, born England, married for 6 years (which matches the Hartley Wintney marriage); 4 children, all still living in 1911.

All the children born in Perth.
