I am sure that my grandfather phillip did'nt immergrate to america, so this must be another man with same name.

the next two post match up with the info i have, yes i know about uncle stanley,

WIth auntie joyce its a bit of a grey area, i know she married her boss and divorved him and went to america where she started afresh and poss remarried and has 2 children, but this is something i am not sure of, i heard she goes by joy, joyce and lynn.

yes i have been searching the family trees and there is a cousin or second cousin of my dads or grandads and they have not been able to add any more,


I will find a address if i can for joyce or lynda and see if its the right lady.

and the details for my great grandparents this could be correct i have no idea, no one seems to know about that side of the family, i am very greatful for all the help and support so far, if anyone has any other information to ether confirm the above or has new information, i am desperate to try and make contact with my family,

I'd suggest you buy a copy of Joyce's BC to see if it matches to Lynda Joyce. If she was known as Lyn, it does give credence that she's the same person.

If that is the case, her last know surname, as at 1972, was Hook.

She lived as Hook in both California & South Carolina, but which way round, no one knows!
