Morning Oz good to hear you are having a bonzer bannk hol. Morning uk only 53 days to our first bank hol and its about time we had a holiday to celebrate Britain...trouble is the politicians would be worried about upsetting the foreigeners...A few years ago we were going to get a holiday on 21 October to celebrate the British victory over France at the Battle of Trafalger....ooh no said the Foreign Office it will upset the French |

The thing is when the Royal Navy held its own celebrations in Portsmouth, the French Navy sent its biggest warship to honour a great maritime sailor 'Admiral Nelson' ....maybe I will start an online petition to have 21 October recognised as a national day of celebration in the UK |
