My darling dad has been admitted to Hospital. Will know more tomorrow, going to try to get some sleep as I have just got back in.

Although I do not do the positive thought thing I truly hope that not only is your dad ok but you are too.
I'll be in your neck of the woods later this year (getting drunk no doubt at Fowey regatta which is not a million miles from you) so I will give you a telling off if you don't chill!

Thank you everyone,

Dad is in HDU at present, hopefully once they get some meds into him he will pick up. I am going to work this morning, there is not a lot I can do at the mo, Thought he had a DVT last night but doc seems to think its something else thankfully. But the doc we saw when we got to hosp was fantastic, to say he gave dad a MOT would be an under statement. Dad has quite a few health issues that his GP has noted but not really done much about, the Doc we saw last night, checked everything and has said he will sort it all out while dad is there.Bless him Dad has gone down hill lately, silly little things but enough for us to worry, so hopefully all will be sorted and he will be a lot better soon
Will let you know how things are later

It sounds as though your dad will be well looked after and hopefully will come out fitter than he's been for a while.

So many doctors look at a persons age before they decide what treatment they give..................my very best wishes for a speedy recovery.
