i could understand spanish

as lets face it its one of the most popular holiday destinations but even then they speak english
french is a waste of time

but bsl would benift so many people

My neice is 6, they have a child in their class who is deaf so the teacher learnt BSL and is teaching it to the kids.

thats brill when i was manager of under fives i used to teach them animals and colours

im not a fan of childrens tv as i think kids today watch far to much

but i luv something special on cbeebies i no its makaton but very similair and helps me refresh lol

Clare.... I am not doing level 3 as just signed up for a degree in Pyschology..... end result hopefully will be that I can work with deaf children!

And for the record my parents never taught me sign, only the alphabet as they were of the era that speech was the only way forward!!

well done for passing one of your resits sorry to hear about the other and by one point no wonder your gutted

ps i believe sign language should be taught in schools my kids are in a mainstream school but there are probably 15 or so children in the school that have hearing problems two are which are in my daughters class not only is there the normal class teacher but also a teacher who signs my daughter is only 4 but the sign language she has picked up is amazing

And Kirsten you are right it should be - children LOVE sign language as its all a game to them!!
