When my Grandaughter stays with me she wears a Growbag at night, but you do find her with the zip down, her feet cold, and her fast asleep!!!!!!! At 18 months what do most babys wear??? This would help her mum know what to do.

Many thanks Helen.

i have always used a grow bag up untill xmas he was 2 yrs n 3 months

his last one we bought from mothercare and has a zip from the top to bottom may confuse her
or has she thought of trying the growbags with the popers at the chest
or just put a blanket over the bottom of her growbag she should be ok as it is pretty cold on a night now

my little one was ill and was sick on his grow bag so he had to have covers for the first few days then i got a cot duvet for him wich he now has and i put an extra thick fleece on top if its really cold

luv

I used to put socks on my babies on a night, as they would wriggle out of anything, just in the coldest weather tho as they were always like little nuclear reactors. I love the grow bags, my friend has one for her 14 month old, very handy.

I am assuming that a growbag, is an update of a babygro!..My grandkids are 2 and 4 and, tonight, are wearing traditional jammies. Am I missing something?

A gro bag is a sleep outfit, it has straps on the shoulders but the bottom bit instead of having feet is sealed like a blanket - means they keep toasty warm all night and can't wriggle out of it.

Important to limit the central heating in their room though so they don't overheat xx
