Ouch, that sounds painful!

I remember going ice skating myself a few years ago, problem is, I was skating on my bum (am I allowed to say bum on here!! oops that's twice!)

P.S. Diana, my son broke his arm yesterday too. Has to have a plate put in it and looks like he won't be able to play rugby for 3/4 months. :0(

Pink

you have my every sympathy.
One of the twins fell at scouts on Thurs eve, Said it hurt that night, but i said I wasn't taking him to A&E at that time of night (EVIL mother). And if he still felt bad in the morning I'd take him then. Friday morning said it was painful but ok. When he still wasn't using his arm by Friday after school took him to A&E spent over 2 hrs there to be told not sure. Spent further two hours today in fracture clinc for another doctor to say not sure!!! he has either cracked it or bruised his old injury ( he cracked it in 2004) Unfortunatly/fortunatly?? my boys have high threashold for pain, When youngest broke his collar bone last yr he actually laughed as the doctor manipulated it, he was so casual about it the doctor was gonna send him home without even x ray, as he figured he wouldn'tbe laughing if it was broken....I got major apology for that!!!!!!

Enjoy your pain relief tonight!!!

You have my every sympathy too; it sounds a very painful injury to have.

If it's any consolation, a friend of mine did exactly the same thing in early December at the Somerset House ice rink (what's more, it was her birthday!) The medic at Somerset House told her it was only bruised as there was no swelling, so she carried on and sat through 'Mamma Mia' that evening in rather a lot of discomfort, before discovering the following day that she too had broken her elbow.......

Hope it mends extra fast; glad to know it hasn't affected your drinking arm!
