I went ice skating yesterday with a friend of mine and his 2 kids, the plan being that each child had an adult to skate with!

Well me being a silly mare, wanted to get used to the ice before taking the little one out and with 5 mins, i am down in a heap!

I laughed and brushed myself down abd although my arm hurt I carried on to make sure the girls had fun!

But I have since found out, after 4 hours in A&E, that I have cracked my elbow!!

And yes it hurts like nothing I have ever experienced again!

So when you've stopped laughing, can I have some sympathy please!!

never tryed it i cant sayin how easy or hard it is but 2 crack ur elbow u must have gobe down with a bump lol.

ouch that hurts.

now have you got it in plaster that we can all sign or just in a sling or like my mum told to keep using it.

Good excuse to drink though you have to numb the pain.

My brother did that years ago, fell off a stage at a village hall party, and cried all night that his elbow hurt, mum thought he had just bruised it but got it checked next day and he had cracked his funny bone! lol
I know how much he hurt altho he was only 5 so do feel for you Diana. What a shame when your intentions were so honourable lol

p.s. if you can hold of comfrey in some shape or from, it's old name was knitbone as it helps bones mend quicker!

Ouch!! Poor you, but what a trooper to continue so the children had fun. What a good job you didn't fall on it again though. Hope it will soon heal. went ice skating a few times in my teens, seem to remember being horizontal more than i was vertical. and the proffesionals make it look so easy.

Aw! Poor you. Just take care on the icy pavements Pink. Would hate to think of you being unable to lift your glass due to both arma being out of action
