Sickened....I hope they get a custodial sentence for this and a lengthy one. But as many have pointed out they will probably get fined and banned from keeping animals it's disgusting. Catherine crazy is'nt it the creep should have been locked up.

These people are just the lowest form of life,Im sure In their next life thats just what they will come back as!
Horses are just beautiful creatures and deserve to be treated with respect,as does any Animal!
I do donate to rescued horses,I have done for many years.

I hope everyone who has posted on here about the horses will contribute to the Rescue Sactuary(s) where those still alive have been taken. Every little helps

. Also if your daughter(usually daughters)is pony mad, and you are not able to have a pony or horse for her then sponser one in her name so she can visit it, and know how it is.

Owning a horse is lovely, but very expensive in money and time to do it properly. There are lots of horses and ponies in Sanctuarys that are not suitable for riding because of previous ill treatment and injury. They still cost the same to feed and look after, especially in winter.

And while we are about it, if these horses were for the meat trade in another country, lets not forget that many of the animals that we do eat in this country are kept in conditions that we would not like to see. Battery hens, so we can have cheap 'healthy white meat', and eggs................plenty of other examples.

32 found dead, 80 currently being rescued from Amersham in Bucks, most will be moved to the Redwings Sanctuary in Norfolk and fleets of horseboxes have been sent to enable the move.

Some Horses are stills seriously ill, and are being moved to a secret location in Norfolk for examination by vets and police.

A man has been arrested and charged with assaulting a police officer, but no charges have been brought for the neglect or cruelty yet.

Hopefully the new law regarding death be careless driving will mean more people going to prison in cases like that Catherine...

But why so much leniency when it comes to animals suffering needlessly, and how did the keepers get away with it for so long with so many of them?

I suppose the person or persons who 'owned' them will get a slap on the wrist and told not to keep animals again, and that will be that.
