My nephew and his wife, have just given birth to a little boy, about 2 lbs. Mum had high blood pressure and protein in her water, they already have a little girl, just over two, please pray that the little boy grows from strength to strength, so far Mother and Baby doing well, bless them both I love them to bits. I was born in 1946 weighing 3lbs no incubators then no special care units was told they wrapped me in cotton wool, you dont realy want to know what i weigh now, but the thing is i survived . your great nephew will probably grow into a big strapping lad

My first grandson was a 2lb baby, and his daddy died when he was 2 months old.My daughter had to express milk and feed him, even though she was in a trance like state. That was almost 28 years ago now,and Daniel is a very good chef and a lovely young man.
I'm sure the baby will be OK.The special care baby units are marvellous.
Positive thoughts to all the family.
