WHEN I AM GONE
-------------------------------------
When i am gone my dear one
for me shed not mournfull tears
when ime cold and dead my dear one
all of me you'll have left were our years

may none insult my dignity with their pity
to no man was i ever servile
to none did i harbour enmity
nor seek to defraud men by guile

so envey me not-nor yet revile
for a victim i lived of my class
and now let me sleep-reposing in stile
at peace neath the sweetening grass
---------------------------------------------------

Here's one for you Colin (if I was having a headstone mine would say "You know me ,I'll go anywhere" lol) Rose xx

REMEMBER me when I am gone away,
Gone far away into the silent land;
When you can no more hold me by the hand,
Nor I half turn to go, yet turning stay.
Remember me when no more day by day
You tell me of our future that you plann'd:
Only remember me; you understand
It will be late to counsel then or pray.
Yet if you should forget me for a while
And afterwards remember, do not grieve:
For if the darkness and corruption leave
A vestige of the thoughts that once I had,
Better by far you should forget and smile
Than that you should remember and be sad.

I'm truly gifted in putting my size 5 in it believe me! I once was a witness in a road accident where a motorist knocked two schoolboys off their bikes. His fault entirely. Had to ask for time off from work so speaking to the pay clerk booking the time off I explained the pros and cons of the case to her, saying that it was all his fault and adding "and as for his wife, well what a snotty piece of work she was" to which she replied "Yes, I know, she's my sister" OMG I thought, and then she quickly added - "you are right, she is a snotty cow" Relief all round I can tell you
