It's the time of year for it Jan, what with people getting new smellies for xmas and combined with the weather...not a good combo. I know perfume is something that can tighten my chest that's why I suggested it.

What a worry Jan, it doesn't matter how old the children get, you still fret for them when they are unwell......the perfume suggestion sounds like a reasonable one......if she is used to that working environment, then it is something that has changed, and someone wearing a different perfume could be an answer.....

Glad your daughter is feeling better Jan it can be so frightening when you have an asthma attack.
Chris I have Spiriva and yes it has helped.
Have Symbicort 2 or 4 puffs twice a day depending how bad I am Spiriva 1 capsul a day and Pulvinal ( same as Brycanyll reliver ) as and when.
I got a review this week too.
Yes i have heard swimmig is good but I can't swim and have a phobia of water being neer my face so that is out for me.

Hi Jan glad your daughter is feeling alot better-asthma is very frightening whatever your age! I take seretide through a spacer that makes a noise if you dont do it properly.I changed to seretide abut 2 years ago and my asthma is very much under control now,I also go swimming which has really helped with my lung expansion but you have to be careful initially because of the chlorine in the water it can make your chest tight until you get used to it.
Best wishes for 2008

This may help someone - dependent upon type of asthma - if you can obtain honey from bees in the area you live in - that this can be of great benefit. Must be from the area you live in.
