I was so sure that the baby would hang on until christmas eve, doesn't look like they'll get the chance now with being induced on saturday... I suppose the hospital wants as few christmas babies as possible, I think it's always a busy time for deliveries.

One of my Sis In Law is a christmas eve baby, the other is a new years day baby and I have a friend who was boxing day lol.

Good luck to you all for when the baby finally puts in an appearance.

Hope you're a nana very soon Lynn and best wishes to your daughter. I was 23 when I had my 1st and I was still my mam's little girl (she's allowed me to grow up a bit since!)

On your off to read for a while thread Lynn.

Knew it would have been Lynn, I know you were shopping almost as soon as you knew lol If she could stomach the tea, maybe with honey, it sounds as tho it does more than just the old fashioned idea of starting labour, apparently makes the second stage much easier and afterwards too. Will try and find ithe thread for you.

i got her some, but my god, its foul, hahha there was no way she could drink it, and i dont blame her

Hope things start happening soon Lynn - did you see the post I put on another thread for you, about raspberry leaf tea. There was quite a lot of info about it helping with contractions etc and afterwards too.

You have just reminded me my son's cousin's daughter will be 8 on Christmas Eve so must get her a card to send.

Looking forward to hearing the news of little one's arrival. I am sure the manger is all ready!
