midwife has just been and done a sweep, she says everything is ready, Claire just need a little helping hand,
If nothing happens before Saturday, she has been booked in to be induced saturday morning

I dont know what use im going to be, i cant stop sniveling my little lass is going to be a mummy ( even at 24 she is still my little lass )
im so proud of her

Come on little lady, we need some cuddles

will keep you all informed as to how its going

Lynn what a wonderful time of year to welcome new life into the world. I too am a Christmas baby (birthday tomorrow) and love this time of year.

Oh Lynn at least you know one way or other baby will be with you for Christmas. My secibd was induced at Nuneaton Maternity Hospital. Got everything crossed it will happen very soon for you all. ((((((((((HUGS))))))))

I had a membrane sweep done and I gave birth to my daughter within 2 hours.

Hope things start happening soon Lynn - did you see the post I put on another thread for you, about raspberry leaf tea. There was quite a lot of info about it helping with contractions etc and afterwards too.

You have just reminded me my son's cousin's daughter will be 8 on Christmas Eve so must get her a card to send.

Looking forward to hearing the news of little one's arrival. I am sure the manger is all ready!

i got her some, but my god, its foul, hahha there was no way she could drink it, and i dont blame her

Knew it would have been Lynn, I know you were shopping almost as soon as you knew lol If she could stomach the tea, maybe with honey, it sounds as tho it does more than just the old fashioned idea of starting labour, apparently makes the second stage much easier and afterwards too. Will try and find ithe thread for you.
