What about a new Address Book? It gently drops the hint to drop a line, now and then?

P.S. I've still got mine from when I left home and it is off immense value to me. For the people I no longer see and for the current close friends.

A digital photo frame seems a very good idea, and the voltage is 220/240 as here, but the plugs are different, but that can be changed or use an adaptor.

Tassietina, can I just adjust your post to say that in case Catherine gets some naughty knickers for them, thongs in Oz speak mean sandals lol
Or Catherine, you could buy them some thongs for joke gift saying you had been told by an Aussie member, that they were the in thing to wear in the heat lol
I think all the suggestions so far are great.
My son has just found for sale, a Man Utd collapsible storage box which he says is very light to post, and he is sending it to his half brother who is an ardent fan, despite being Maltese.
If I have said a bad word, my aplogies!

Sorry!! Hope I didn't upset or embarrass anyone, thanks for straightening that out Liz never gave it a thought. I think they call them "flip flops" or something like that.

That's the term here but I am sure most of us know what you mean lol, just making sure Catherine did too lol
Can't imagine anyone would be embarrassed or upset at all so don't apologise, it gave me a giggle, imagining people walking round in such gear!
