I thought the idea was that we pay our membership and can post on all the boards? I read and post on Gen, chat and tips, read Records but don't often post. History, success and trying to find read occasionally when in a genealogy mood!!

Ive never really been one for a separation of boards. I see the site as a whole community and the name on a board is all it is where Gen and Chat are for me.
Its always nice to be a part of it all :)

Gen and Chat seem to be one and the same to me.

Can anyone explain the difference?

Why have these two when one would do, I'm with you Ann (Glos) dip into all the boards occasionally.
