General Chat

I was bored lol

I had a chat with HR about various things going on at the mo...part of the reason I was brought in....followed by a quick tour of the entire company.....then a chat about company policies and dealing with returns,

After lunch, a more in depth tour of the distribution and quality departments, spent a lot of time in the testing lab, the a quick overview of the system...then nothing to do for 1 1/2 hours till I went home.

Never mind, break of for Christmas next Friday, AND I get four days paid holiday...cos its not my fault the company shuts down for the Christmas period just after I start work there LOL.

Off to their London office to help in retailer training conference at the end of Jan.

*whispers* I'm really hoping for an opportunity to visit the factories in Portugal, China, India or Phillipines, but doubt that will happen lol

Tomorrow I will know a few more faces and start finding my own way about some places.

There is one man in the quality department who is apparently a bit of a flirt and loves a good natter....I was warned, if I had to go see him about anything, make sure I have all my exits clear LOL

Hayley they did not buy a brand spanking new desk for me, it's a brand spanking new office in a brand spanking new unit on a brand spanking new business park.

(pity the buses down there don't match LOL)
