I saw them last night Cath, they are really good, enjoyed looking at them.

Liz, about 6.30 cos he's in the land of ZZZZ's at the mo, I don't expect to see him before then.lol

Then they tell us that we should take the buses.... lower our 'carbon footprint'!!

The buses here a mess. they behave quite well for a while, and then behave like yours Teresa....

I never use them, I can't anymore, but hubby loves his free bus pass, and uses it as often as possible.

Deanna, to be honest they are not usually that bad, but I know with Christmas coming up it is hell in the city centre, with traffic, and that is what is holding them all up. December is a month where you only look at the timetable first thing in the morning. After 7.00am they get there when they do.

I not put them on the photo pages mainly cos I can't get into it and also the last lot of photo's I put on got deleted by some nutter.

I have applied to go on it the photo pages, so not checked my e-mail to see if gwynn has replied but I'm a bit dubious about putting them on. I mean maybe it's ok now to do so Idon't know.

4 Busses TW you lucky thing - I have one bus that runs twice an hour on weekdays - but after 8.30am its 45 mins for the next one.

When they come together - don’t ask me how - but they do - I have upwards of an hours wait for the next one - and worst of all you don’t know if it’s running late or if you have missed it.

There is no shelter and no seat or even a timetable at my stop.

And what really hacks me off is the stop is just after a set of lights - the bus normally gets caught at the lights but as stops are few and far between if the lights are green sometimes the drivers get over excited and sail past the stop with me jumping and shouting!

And I pay First bus £725.00 a year for this privilege to take me three miles down hill and three miles back up…. I would cycle if it wasn’t for the three mile up hill!!

The only reason we get four buses is because I live on a main road out of the city, they only way for three destinations, two of the buses go to the same place, but one goes clockwise through the village, the other goes anti-clockwise. They all have to come up my part of the main road before they turn off to their individual destinations.

next stop down the road towards the city provides another two services too!


Catherine, I promise to give them a dab of clear nail varnish to stop them laddering LOL

I know, but its a long uphill walk with the shopping, and to see all four buses at once told me I would be waiting for the next one for longer than it would take me to walk home!
