Jessie aka Maddies mate

Jessie aka Maddies mate Report 26 Nov 2007 17:35

that he was diagnosed with cancer that then became secondary Liver cancer.
Early this year they removed the tumour and he began Chemo and sailed through it
Today we were told that another tumour is in his liver and they can't operate as it is too risky.
He has been given 6 to 18 months

We cannot belive that after everything he has been through that there is nothing else they can do.

Now it is just a waiting game and taking everyday as it comes.

Maddie

So sorry to hear your sad news. All I can say is make the most of the time you have left together. Be there for him if he needs you. Ask him any questions you have and tell him you love him. Leave nothing unsaid. You will find an inner strength that you didn't know you had. One more thing - cry and be angry - let it out - don't bottle it up. My wonderful father died 14 years ago yesterday - it still hurts - I still get upset. He died of a heart attack in the middle of the night, so I didn't get a chance to say goodbye. I can honestly say I can sit here and not say I wish I had told him this or that, etc. I know he loved me and he knew I loved him. Make the most of every day you have.
