I'm not sure Awdrey but would have thought as they are UK docs that the ordinary UK subs would be sufficient.

I may of course be wrong :-)

laura, and others who have found theirs.... Isnt it great finding even a snippet of informaton to add to the story of their lives. I know I am over the moon.

i MANAGED TO FIND ONE OF MY GT GRANDADS BUT COULDNT FIND EITHER OF MY GRANDADS DESPITE EVEN HAVING REGIMENT AND NUMBER

i found my husbands great grandads

he went awol quite a few times

and when they asked him how many children he had he didnt know!
