Well didn't I talk that one up, woke up Friday morning with tight chest and dry throat, etc and have a stinker coming. I had to go out and get some tile samples for the bathroom and just did that and bought the vick and came home. Will be trying the vick foot thingy shortly and have lemsips and honey, and Benylin too. |

I told the manager of the charity shop over the road that tip about Vick as she said she had a stinker of a cold, and had been using Vick on her chest and forehead all week. Told her she had it on the wrong end so she said she will give it a go, hope it works for her. |

I prefer slice a slice of lemon and put one or two chunks of ice into a large glass of gin and tonic,,,,,it might not get rid of your cold but hey once you've had that you won't care |

Slice a large onion thinly and layer in bowl with muscavado sugar, cover with cling film and leave in fridge. After a few hours liquid will appear - take as much as you want to - it will ease cough and cut phelgm. (There is no onion taste). At least 4 generations of our family have used this and it works. |

You put the vicks on the soles of your feet at bed time and wear socks - I dont know how it works but I been sleeping through cough and cold like a baby. |
