So sorry to hear your sad news Sheila. Last year I had to have my mums cat put to sleep. It is heartbreaking. When I had my dog put to sleep a few years ago, it was heartbreaking. |

So sorry to hear of your loss (the people who tell you it 'was only a dog' have no idea that a dog is a loved member of the family). I'm a 40 plus year old ex sailor who sobbed my heart out when my Bess died in her sleep aged 15, (and I dont care who knows it). Dont be afraid to grieve for Timber. Rest in peace Timber |

Sheila, I am so sorry that the time had come to let Timber go to rest, and hope you will find comfort in the lovely messages and verses here and in knowing you gave him a good life and the dignity of a gentle death. It is always hard to say goodbye to our beloved pets, I have had to do it several times, but it is the price we pay for the years of love and devotion and pleasure we get from them. |
