We all do things for our mothers, but you have considered your mother-in-law as your mother too.

My own Mum has this disease................she is in a home now, which was the hardest thing I have ever had to do.

It has worked out really well for her though and the staff love her to bits too.

I am really pleased you are able to manage to care for her 24/7.

Her children are missing so much.........as you say, she is still their one and only Mum.

Although mum no longer recognises any family and has lost most of her speech, she is still there, somewhere.

Thinking of you, but remember you must have some ME time, otherwise you will end up being ill, and unable to cope.
