thanks liz, just latley with my eldest left home and settled and david doing well im am realising now i did do my best and what a lovely feeling im so proud, there dad can go and wazz up a wall for all i care x

Puss, how wonderful things are getting better for your son. Music is always a great therapy and a good means of making contact with others, and feeling on the same wavelength as his peers, so your lad must be much happier inside even if he doesn't recognise it as such. You have every right to be proud, he couldn't have done so well if you hadn't been behind him all the way.

im really pleased this is off use, what i would have done in the early days to have someone like me and my son, never ever did i ever think things would improve and as you can see from others it does.
a tip is always remember that most of the time kids with aspies havent got a clue what your going on about, i m hard enough for the average intelligent person to understand lol, if any parents out theree ever want to chat please pm, just knowing your not alone, and hearing the same stories can help, even now im gratefull that you will reply and say , "yes my son does that too " love puss xx

it's a well known fact - people with Aspergers are more intelligent than the rest of us - have known a few and they are doing really well

brill isnt it kemp, i will never forget one day he told me how he tried to fit in with some lads his own age, he said he would listen to how they spoke and would go to another kid and copy it to try and fit in, i cried so much that day xxx
